Prologue

Scientists have discovered a message from beyond, from another dimension! The message we've found is not one of peace or kindness, but one of destruction. We've learned that an invasion is coming. Giant monsters that want nothing more than to eat our children and ruin our cooking shows. There may also be something about destroying of all human cities so they can repopulate the planet. The translation is a little iffy.

This Virtual Reality Replica is what our scientists believe will be coming through the Rift. With this replica, our Commandos will be able able to train safely against these monsters so that when our dimension is breached there won't be any problems defending our world.

Science has developed the Roller Core Mech. We've used them for years in Construction, but weaponizing and upgrading them will give our Commandos the best advantage against these giant monsters. All our scientists agree that giant humanoid mechs are the best way to deal with giant monsters from other dimensions. There are 4 major corporations working to this end, hoping to land a sweet government contract to mass produce their design and fight the invaders.

According to the scientists predictions, our Roller Core Mechs should have no trouble in fighting back these invaders. Teams of Commandos should be able to take these things down as well, and scientists are looking forward to learning everything we can about the invaders.

But the scientists were wrong in their calculations. What's coming through the rift is larger than predicted. Much larger. Our world is being invaded, by KAIJU.
